We’re thrilled to announce that the 8th Annual Washington Italian Festival, presented by the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania Sons & Daughters of Italy, Primo Italiano Lodge 2800, will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 12pm-8pm at the Community Pavilion on Main Street, Downtown Washington, PA. The festival’s mission is not only to celebrate Italian heritage through music, food, and community but to ensure the tradition of such social and cultural events continue, which bring vibrancy and a sense of belonging to our community.

The festival will kick-off with a Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, September 20, 2024 beginning at 5:30pm. Entertainment by Shades of Time will be on stage from 6:30pm-8:30pm on Friday evening. On Saturday the 21st you’ll recognize some of your favorite acts such as traditional folk dances from Allegro Dance Company and musical performances throughout the day including the incredible Washington Jazz Orchestra. Are you a foodie? Enjoy a cooking demonstration and an opportunity to share your favorite Italian recipes as we create our own Italian Cookbook! Representatives from the Italian Heritage project at Citizens Library will share information about Italian traditions and oral histories. Throughout the day, attendees can shop, enjoy Italian music, and savor their favorite Italian dishes. Adult beverages will be available.
